I think Berba will definitely play as he's got the Golden Boot in his sights, which with Tevez back and with an extra match to play is not guaranteed for him yet. A home game against Blackpool would seem the ideal opportunity to put that individual award beyond doubt. I also expect Owen to play, his contract is up and he'll seems to want to stay so will need to show something - particularly with Welbeck, King and maybe Will Keane and John Cofie pushing for first team action next season.

The defence might be an issue; if Brown plays then it should be OK with younger players to follow his lead, but if it's Smalling and Evans at centreback then Blackpool will have a chance due to their lack of experience.

I also think Scholes will play, as I think sadly it will be his last competitive game at Old Trafford

With the way Chelsea finished last season and started this one the pessimist in me was resigned to watching them win the title again so it's made the season all the more enjoyable. Great to win 19 this season as the league should be very competitive in he next few years.

Against Blackpool it won't be the first XI but it will certainly be a strong team. Berbatov, Scholes, Fletcher and Rafael will all need some game time ahead of the final and were first choice earlier in the season. Then there will be the likes of O'Shea, Anderson, Owen and Gibson

Got to be the most useless stat ever...

It's not like they've had money since 92 is it?

Although the amounts they've chucked into it, to get where they are now is nuts. I expect them to have to pay up contracts to get rid of people...

Edwin's last ever OT game...I can understand completely not playing him, but it'll be a bit of a shame for him and the fans... ...you don't want the legendary VDS lifting the Premiership trophy in his shirt and tie!

...I s'pose it is on Sky live 'cos of Blackpool's position ain't it?

...hope Blackpool go down, it's the most horrible place I've been to for many years!!!

He's nowhere near the Golden Boot, Ronaldo & Messi have over 30 goals each this season

Busquets cleared to play in the final.

Now I am normally an 'innocent until proven guilty' sort of bloke, but I must confess to hoping he would be suspended for the final.

I don't think Ronaldo and Messi are eligible for the Premier League Golden Boot, largely owing to the technicality of them not playing in the Premier League. The top scorer for this season is currently D. Berbatov:

Sounds like the two of you are refering to the Golden Shoe, which while a more prestige award is not the one I mentioned...

Golden Shoe

No need to be arsey about it. The first time you replied to Horseflesh might have been the best time to mention that you just meant in England?
