As previously posted, I'm almost entirely oblivious to NIN. However, Cold Cave are supporting so might have to bob along. How much are tickets?

Nine Inch Nails pt.2 - what Trent did next.

I'd just get a provisional driving license. It's always handy to have a photo ID, even if you have no intention to drive.

No idea how much they are these days though!

Nottingham! Lovely, I don't even have to make much of an effort.

Two tickets booked for Glasgow!

£35 + £10.05 "Service Fee" each.

Now to go arrange for some government-issued photo-ID...

At 09:02 there were no tickets available for the O2 Arena - via my browser anyway. Fortunately my work colleague grabbed me one!

Got my 2 from O2 priority, as they didn't request the photo documentation. £88 for the pair.

Hmm. My missus has managed to avoid reading all the t&cs which are on the first page in MASSIVE CAPITALS and booked our tickets from my nin.com account in her name. It basically says they won't change this now and will not hand over the tickets at venue.

Didn't fancy the O2, so gonna try and get tickets in Europe and combine it with a city break. Any idea when more dates will be announced?

All O2 tickets sold out by the time I'm in from work. No doubt it'll be the same situation on Friday, why release them at 9am?

Edit: being thick.

By the by, ticket place says as long as the person on the name call has ID, they'll give out the tickets, so all that dire stuff in the T&Cs about NAME MUST MATCH nin.com account is baloney.

*RANT-ON*

Buying concert tickets is the most stressful purchase ever. Forget buying a house, at least you don't have a timer counting down until you lose the purchase, a captcha sign that bears no legible lettering, adding needless stress and awareness to the constant ticking of the timer of doom, or a sense of dread that you're buying tickets for the crappest seats in the house.

I managed to secure 3 tickets at the O2, mis-read the location of the seating in my panic to keep hold of them (the three I wanted were taken away from me as someone got there first) and now have three tickets in the nosebleed section at a right angle to the stage.

If this gig is anything like their lights in the sky then we're going to miss half the effect.

I've seen Muse four times and am seeing QOTSA tonight at Wembley Arena. Every time getting tickets is a gamble and a mission, often with multiple browsers and every time I do manage to find tickets the seats we get are ****.

How on earth do people get standing tickets for these gigs?

Sorry for the moan, I should be grateful I'm getting to see them but I can't help feeling gutted about the whole process.

Are you, or is anyone that you know, on O2? I've just gone onto the O2 priority website and can still get standing tickets.

Sorry!

You're right about the other ticket websites though. Ents24, Ticketmaster, Seetickets, Ticket Factory all have very little available.

Can someone get me one standing ticket for a London gig?

Robby, it just absolute pot luck like life is. If you really want the tickets then you will find a way to get them.

Yeah I managed to get standing for Nottingham and Manchester but no luck with London. Tried all the different agencies.

Just got two standing tickets in the Budapest pre-sale. Couldn't have been easier! Plus the pre-sale has been active since late last week.
