Just came across Anders Lindegaard interview on BBC where he says Crawley "worked their asses off"

Didn't think you could use that word?

Just read those articles, unbelievable. Ł8k fine and 20 months suspension? Why wasn't it a life-ban from football and a short prison sentence? **** me.

Respect to the 75,000 OT faithful who turned out to watch our second tier against non-League opposition.

The attendance at Eastlands to watch their first team - 27,000

New deal for evra.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...td/9403476.stm

That's him vidic and Rooney all tied up. Just need a time machine to bung Fergie and VDS into and we're all set.

EDIT: I love how when the media report on the Honours won by Utd players, they don't even bother to include everything: -

Evra has won three Premier League titles and a Champions League medal since joining the Old Trafford outfit and has established himself as a crowd favourite.

He's won a lot more than that.

Good point Rustybin, although for say the two league cups, was he actually in the team for the final. I can't remember now.

His Wiki entry reads:

Manchester United
Premier League (3): 2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09
Football League Cup (3): 2005–06, 2008–09, 2009–10
FA Community Shield (2): 2007, 2008
UEFA Champions League (1): 2007–08
FIFA Club World Cup (1): 2008

I agree with rustybin, they could at least say 'amongst other honours' to indicate a player's true achievements. That is TEN honours listed above and whilst they are certainly not equal, they deserve some fleeting acknowledgement.

Great news about him signing an extension, with VDS departing it is important to keep the back-four as stable as possible and Vidic and Evra are two of Fergie's best-buys during his United term.

Surely it's fair to list just (just!) those though for brevity sake? Maybe say how many has won, including those mentioned...or something like that.

Good that he has signed. Though his agent clearly took a leaf out Rooney's ploy. Talking up a move to Madrid and then getting a nice new pay increase and new contract.

As I said...

"they could at least say 'amongst other honours' "

...be a bit demanding to list every honour, but the press do seem to pick and choose who they give full credit to (after seeing a week of press referring to Gigg's 32 career medals!).

Were the other 6,000 Crawley fans sat there in silence?
