If anyone is interested, this weekend (April 17th - 18th) Sky are doing one of their freepass weekends, with limited content normally on subscription channels available for all on Sky3 (Freeview ch11, Virgin Media ch123, Sky ch108)

Ahh, it's all clear now. Looking at the guide I thought The Pacific was starting a run on Sky 3, but it seems it's only the first two eps. Does anyone know if I can Sky+ these & look at them after the weekend. I can't watch anything live on Sky, just too many adverts. I suspect I'm not alone in this.

It worked last time they did this, but I think it hasn't worked on earlier occassions. But I am a Sky customer and that was with Sky Movies, which I don't have.

It's possible the episodes of The Pacific might be ad-free as they are on the proper Sky channel. On the last free weekend they showed I Am Legend completely ad-free & in the correct ratio as an promo for Sky Movies.
