If it is a missing episode there could be another lost ep as well

ahh, just came on here to say WTF with agent Charlie still being alive. Makes more sense now if it's an S01 out take!

Was it explained on the US broadcast that it was a hangover from S1. Thought it was odd when I saw his name on the credits, but thought it could be some kind of flashback.

Very random just to sling it in the middle of S2 without any explanation. I wondered why the hell Charlie was back in it.

If the execs were thinking of airing the episode then why didn't they do it when Charlie was still alive? If it's a season 1 episode is it in the season 1 boxset?

Looking at the episode descriptions for the two remaining episodes before it's lengthy hiatus, suggests that they too could be older episodes as there is no mention of recent events.

Last week's out-of-sequence, ep.11 can be watched anytime during S1 as it was a stand-alone episode with Charlie's presence being the only wtf! moment.

Ep.12 seemed to be back in sequence with S2, with brief mention of Walter's recent kidnapping experience at the beginning, otherwise it was another stand-alone episode.

Did anyone else spend the entire ep 11 trying to see if Olivia was the only person Charlie interacted with, only to be completely baffled when he ended up firing a tranq dart towards the end?

Just me then....? :$

Stand alone eps on this show suck, theyre only saved by the great acting/writing for walter, and increasingly, asteroid. The arc eps however are usually great.

Also, dunham has the most amazing collar in tv. Its permanently looking like its almost ready to pop open with its undone top button, yet it always stays perfectly in place!

A stand alone but I don't think it sucked in fact I thought was pretty good, though I did work out what Walter was going to do straight away.

More of Walters bad side, he really isn't someone you want to have mad at you.

Thought it was a decent ep...

When I first saw the title I was hoping we'd have Bishop get his lost memories somehow. We need bad ass Bishop back but was nice to see another glimpse of it.

Actually I thought it pushed the story along, rather than the usual monster-of-the-week. Are things going to get worse between the two realities?

Apart from Walter's joyful jig at the prospect, who says it was no more than a meal out.

Second half of the season main plot direction? Hell yes.

Speaking of Fringe...and a bit off topic...have you seen the incredible pictures of Anna Torv from March's Esquire magazine?
