Didn't the head timelord make a referance to the the statues from blink when refering to the 2 people that voted agaisnt the motion?

Not keen on that new trailer, i was hoping for a less hyper dr but it looks like his just copying tennent. so what the point in changing the dr then?

missed the start and it sounds I didn't miss much, the scene in the starbug rip off with Cribs and the Dr talking was good (where I started watching) and the end bit with the regeneration but the rest was awful.

Rocky Dennis as the Dr is strange but the new companion is

Oh was I meant to hate this one? Thought it was fantastic and the polar opposite of last week's mess.

They had their head in their hands as well. Might be a plot point for the future...

Why would a human be a member of the Timelord Council.. I guess it could explain her voting against Rassilons' scheme to destroy Earth though.

These BBC Wales producers and directors really are deluded.

Would be ace if RTD would just admit he nicked the Cacti ship off Red Dwarf and the nuclear box from Wrath of Khan.
I knew the ship reminded me of something - yes Starbug of course.....and yes I was reminded of Spocks death in WOK.

I thought the female timelord was Donna!

Yeah I've just checked. When Wilf asks the Doctor, we get a shot of Donna and the Doctor just ignores the question.

The bug crossbred with Firefly's Serenity. Interesting mix.

Why would the head of the time lord council stand around waiting on his ascension to a 5 dimensional (Q) being because a world war 2 gun was aimed at him.. when he had a time lord vaporising glove thing on his hand?

Okay I did not know his mother was human :P

Utter bilge.

What amazes me about RTD is how blatantly he's prepared to insult the intelligence of his viewers.

There wasn't a single original idea throught the entire hour and a half, everything was an idea ripped off someone elses story.

The only thing that was good about this finale was that it marks the end of his god-awful writing.

I still think that RTDs skill is in dialogue, small scale stuff...but not plots! The personal level stuff was ok.

How could that be Rassilon though? He was from the early days of Gallifrey, was he bought back as part of the Time War? Rassilon was a bad guy, so maybe they needed a bad guy to fight the daleks... I liked the idea of the Doctor having to stop the Timelords as much as he had to stop the Daleks, and the notion of the war killing people, bringing them back, then killing them again.

But the mucking about with the spaceship, and falling umpteen thousand feet...

I did think that the four knocks on the glass from Wilf was good though.

The Timelords had quite obviosuly gone insane due to the TimeWar.

Thank christ RTD has now ****** off. Maybe we'll get some decent US-standard script and storytelling. FAT CHANCE!!!

Thought it was great, much better than part one and a nice send off for DT.

Also good to see thescrounger has started his moaning about the new series already, i swear his face would crack if it ever had the chance to smile.

Said exactly the same things to the Mrs. When they showed the panning shot of the ship I expected the Red Dwarf music to cut in!

All in all, an unsurprisingly rushed end to the Timelords return. But it does show they can return - unless we knew that already, but I didn't.

Even more annoying was the s...l...o...w sentimental rubbish leading up to the regeneration. Just regenerate and get on with it, that time could have been used to fill out the plot!

Did laugh at the "I'm a girl"..and "still not ginger" lines though.

Isnt it attatched to the human Dr, the one Rose went off with

Liked the final episode, less enthused by the new series trailer, but then I was the same when Tennant replaced Ecclestone.
