Very enjoyable couple of episodes and I'm glad to see it back. Difficult at this stage to see where they are going with the story so some aspects of the episodes were a bit disappointing because of the unexpected directions they are going in. But time will tell whether all this pays off. I think if the Cylons all turned on each other in a civil war it would be a bit cheap and a contrived solution, especially given that the final five are in the Galactica fleet. This in itself is highly unlikely by chance and it would have made more sense if the Cylons knew they were there all along.

Bit confused - didn't Adama smash his model ship to bits in the last series (or was it series 2)?

Each model has its perculiarities, and it's always been the Sharon model which we've seen engaging in fitness (or leisure?) activity (which is probably the reason why Cavel mentioned the 8's always having 'those breasts'); it probably boils down to some form of program being followed.

Which, I think is why the Six's were outraged when Boomer went against the model's accepted moral stance.

I have to admit series 1-3 somehow passed me by. I watched the 25min 'catch up with what's gone on before' that Sky Anytime kindly recorded and it was interesting enough to make me try out series 4. I thought it was pretty good! Clever way to keep the sfx budget lower by having human Cylons too

Watch it from the beginning! Don't dip in now - you'll miss LOADS of brilliance.

I can see the Cylon split being the main arc here this season. Once the final 4 are revealed and no doubt chased from the ship, will they end up tipping the balance in the Cylon civil war.

As for regenerations of the Cylon skins, all the other half need to do is station a centurion at the goo-baths. Shoot, kill, rebirth, repeat

I bet this ends with one of the skin cylon factions joining the humans to defeat the other faction.

Yay for Baltar's giddy aunt! With Six and Baltar in Baltar's head (and Baltar in Six's head), I wonder...

Also, is it perhaps part of the Cylon plan that the humans become monotheistic? Is it necessary to find Earth, or to survive there? Is it necessary for humans and Cylons to live in harmony?

It's not the same boomer, she return to the cylon fold after shooting the old man and now is having the affer with the hologram from quantum leap. Who your seeing there was the 8 (called Athena now) that was stuck on the planet with that guy in season one and had his baby.
