TV Viewing Figures

Locked in debate with a housemate about how popular Big Brother actually is this year...

..does anyone know what the average viewing figures have been (in millions) or what the expected figure is going to be tonight.

Does it even hit anywhere near a million? (Please don't say it does )

It gets about 700k which is actually very high for E4.

Viewing figures should be in the media bit of the Guardians web site.

From today's MediaGuardian:

Quote:
Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack ended its low profile run on E4 with 644,000 viewers last night, January 28, eclipsed by Ross Kemp's increasingly popular series about British military operations in Afghanistan on Sky One.

The long-running reality show, shunted from Channel 4 to E4 after last year's racism row, captured a 3.1% share of viewing in multichannel homes between 8.30pm and 10.10pm, bringing the series to a subdued close, according to unofficial overnights.

By comparison, the final of Celebrity Big Brother scored 3.2 million viewers for Channel 4 in January 2007.

Off topic, but I keep seeing the black guy who was in BB a few years ago-the one which featured a near fight with him and a girl. He seems to be at Stockwell tube station every morning waiting for the Bank northern line. Cant remember his name.

Victor was pretty funny.

I am 99% sure it is him. I thought about going up to him and asking him if he is indeed Victor but:

1) it might not be him and he might laugh/get offended and punch me (though 99% sure it is him)
2) dont want to give him the satisfaction of being recognised-if it is indeed him.
