Taking Dawn are the Kiss support in the UK

Saw them last night, third on the bill under Airbourne. I thought they were a joke band to be honest - really poor

Hope not. According to their official website they're doing gigs in the USA whilst Kiss are in the UK

Only reason I've heard of them is they are opening the mainstage Download Saturday. Well looks like they only have one album = short set = more KISS.

Taking Dawn aren't too bad, their album is ok and they do a good cover of The Chain (Fleetwood Mac) & Black Diamond by some other rock band. Shame they may well clash with Y&T at Download otherwise I would have watched them.

Talk is Y&T may be headlining the third stage Saturday, so you may well be in luck!

Wasn't it something to do with them being unhappy at being first on? Now it probably means I won't catch Y&T at all as they'll clash with someone else.

Oh dear. I only lasted 20 seconds of their new video.

Are there two support bands?

Just the one I hope.

I don't want to go through torture again like in '83 with Helix and Heavy Pettin'

Hard to believe that the Bon Jovi/KISS tour played theatres in '84....I still vividly remember it at the Manchester Apollo. Bingley Hall was a bit bigger though

Wow
Do you usually devote so much time when listening to new bands?
