That's why it says:

ITV Play will continue to exist as a programming block aired overnight on ITV1 and ITV2.

Well at least they are free (after purchase of STB). Sky has its fair share of dross channels, that subscribers have to pay for each month!

However, lets not derail this thread, eh - there are already two threads stating the varying opinions of Sky, and its competitiors and their respective services.

ITV2 is by far the most useless of the four ITV channels. Entourage is the only decent thing they’ve had. Why didn’t they +1 ITV1, 3 or 4 instead? All have better content by anyone’s estimation but then this is ITV we’re talking about so numbskull decisions come as standard.

what frustrates me about itv2+1 is the legal disclaimer they often show when they can't broadcast a film.

This is worse on ITV3 + 1 where there are quite a few programs missing with just the legal screen. Surely in these cases they should show an old ITV show rather than just leave blank

When they bought the BBC programs like Two Ronnies and Lovejoy they seem to have only paid for ITV 3 rights did not realise you have to pay more to show on a + 1 channel as well.
