Celebrity Comic Relief Fame Academy 2007!

With Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant! Well, they'll be making an appearance with Extras co-star, and ex Eastender Shaun Williamson.

Other celebs are:

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson
Linda Robson (Birds Of A Feather)
Colin Murray
Zoe Salmon (Blue Peter)
Mel Giedroyc (Mel & Sue)
Ray Stubbs (BBC sports presenter)
Rowland Rivron (Comedian)
Angellica Bell (Presenter?)
Fred MacAuley (Broadcaster)
Miranda Hart (Actress)
Tim Vine (Comedian)
Tricia Penrose (Heartbeat)

One contestant gets kicked out on Saturday, another on Wednesday and 11 make into the Fame Academy house.

Claudia Winkleman and Patrick Kielty present.

I haven't seen Tim Vine in a while, not since a Channel Five quiz I can vaguely recall

Tim Vine's quite a busy boy, still tours his (brilliant) stand-up, usually a couple of tours a year, and was on that Andrew Collins / Lee Mack sitcom last year (a new series of which is currently being written according to AC's blog).

As much as I abhor this sort of crap, after seeing the photoshopped joke pictures of Zoe Salmon in the general thread a while ago, there might be a couple of reasons to watch.

Glad the sitcoms getting another go. It was a pretty decent effort for an mainstream sitcom.

Is ir just me or are most of these people not really what you might call 'celebrities'? Seems a bit of a lost opportunity really.

I enjoyed the first show, although I must admit I am a celebrity show junkie. Surprised Roland Rivron was booted, I liked his performance. The best of the night, in my opinion, had to be Tara she is different but so funny.

Is your assumption based on the fact that Tara has a perspiration problem. I’m no medical expert, but in my opinion the most likely cause to the profuse sweating would be hyperhidrosis.

I think Tara has been clean for some time and is just extremely nervous.

Tara seems to come across as very slightly mad but still very sweet. I'm voting for her

I quite liked the Girls Aloud + Sugababes "Walk This Way" that was on the end of the program. Didn't realise it was this year's comic relief single.

Oh dear.... I thought that bit was utterly terrible!! Some of the dire contestants efforts were in better tune than that (plus it is insult to the true classic original of course!!)

It's an awful record, pales into the shadow of the Stonk

Pleased to see Tara has made it to the final, of all the students, she has been the most entertaining. Her version of ‘these boots are made for walking’, classic.
