Have i got a fake 24 set?

Just recieved 24 season 5 dvd from ebay and i think its a fake, the packaging is just a cardboard sleeve with four slim line dvd cases in, i havent opened it yet but its not the same as the other seasons. Im pretty sure its a fake but just want to be sure before i send an email to the seller.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Jon

I think you might be able to breathe a sigh of relief...

Quote:
Unlike the previous 24 sets, this box set has switched to several discs in individual "thinpak" packaging inside a slipcase box as opposed to the foldout cardboard packaging that was used in many 20th Century Fox releases. Also differing from previous sets is the choice of artwork. The slipcase artwork was chosen in a poll on the FOX website which allowed fans to vote on one of five different choices.

The new packaging is within a cardboard sleeve, and has 7 slimline DVD trays bound like a book

The R2 is now a digistack. This is a cardbaord sleeve with 7 transparent pages with a disc in each one as a digistack. This has a cardboard sleeve as the front and back cover. This goes inside the cardboard sleeve Other DVD's the same are BSG S1, Alien Quadrilogy, Las Vegas S1.

This is the Alien Quad version but 24 on R2 is the same.

Hi Jonny, I have the region 1 from Amazon.com and it's exactly like that, with four slimline boxes each featuring one character from the season

I have quite a few R1 boxsets that are like this (My Name is Earl, Boston Legal, Family Guy) and they are a pain

Can't be as awkward as my season 4 spooks box set. it has the small digistack holders but instead of being like a book, you have to slide the things up and down and it's bloody awkward. lol. I end up with several discs out at once in a line.
