Question Vic & Bob - The Weekenders

Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer did a one-off of this on C4 a good few years go (maybe 9-10). I think it was a half hour pilot episode, that also starred Paul Whitehouse.

Anyone remember seeing it??

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a copy, as I lost my video tape a while back!!!

Thanks

I have a VHS copy still, and still watch it from time to time as its one of my favourite things Vic and Bob ever did. Paul Whitehouse was only in it for a bit as a Welsh bus conductor - "I remember you - you murdered my brother. Brrrrrrrrrutally, mind!"

It was more notable for having Phil Oakey from the Human League in it, as a vendor of quality meat products....

Well here at the 'Alan Ladd Memorial Heel Bar' i still indeed still have a copy of said show on VHS available if you leave a deposit (WHAAATTT!!!), no a monetary deposit (or maybe just PM me and we can sort something out without deposits involved )

EDIT: Damn someone left a deposit before me

I'm glad people know what I'm talking about!!!

It's definitely one of the best things Vic and Bob have done and that's why I want to see it again!

Shame it's not been released

'The Weekenders' was more than 5 or 10 years ago: it was first shown in spring 1992! It was in a series of one-off C4 comedy pilots.
