The great ecstasy of Robert Carmichael

Anyone seen it yet? Perhaps at the Edinburgh film festival?

Is the
really the most horrific scene of 2006?

Sounds like shock value for shock's sake to me, but it's certainly done what the director intended and got people talking.

Well I finally got round to seeing this, and yes, the ending was brutal, horrific, and certainly one of the nastiest scenes I've seen in a while. Was also very gratuitous, needlessly graphic and very hard to shake out of my mind afterwards.

Fans of extreme cinema won't want to miss this one. Shame the acting wasn't all that, and there was an excessive use of swearing.

Maybe I'm just getting soft in my old age?

Danny Dyer is in it so of course there's excessive swearing.

hyped to tht maaxx

A dull film about disaffected youffs in a quiet fishing town. Cue bad acting, minimal dialogue and depressing vistas of pebble beaches and miserable skies. Danny Dyer gets first billing yet gets little screen time and does little to save this. A dull film from start to finish only registering with the appauling end scene that left everyonee in the screen awestruck. I was disgusted and i have seen it all before yet never felt so angry that something so heinous could be committed to celluloid.

So no, i didn't like it
