Gemma Hayes Tour

Anyone been to/going to any of these dates? We're off to the Norwich show on Sat. - should hopefully be a good one.

The latest album is a fine piece of work - very upbeat, but with just the right amount of edge and uniqueness to keep it from sounding too poppy and mainstream...

Any other fans of hers on here?

Going to Manchester. Support act isn't bad, either - saw him support David Ford last week. Duke Special, I think his name is.

It's amazing that after all these years she still can't tune a guitar!

Heh. I interviewed her when she supported Sparklehorse before her first EP came out and she said then that she'd try and learn to tune a guitar. Seems like it never happened!

I think both her albums are fantastic. Never seen her live but I really should. Is she playing the London area again soon?

Saw her last night at Sheffield Leadmill. Good gig but the new stuff is a bit

Can't believe she was playing London midday today - the modern wonders of transport!
