Flashmob: The Opera (II) - Live at Meadowhall, Sheffield (8pm, 07/04). Anyone going ?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/flashmob/flashmob.shtml

The last one was a bit weird but interesting all the same. We just might drive over and watch this one. Something different...

Mike.

Ahh at last something to appeal to the sophisticated meadowhall shopper..

I recommend shinpads for the pushchairs and a lot of patients...

Meadowhell is an apt location given that it is telling the story of Faust.
If it were anywhere else local, I'd definitely go, but I really don't think I can face that place.

Surely a live Opera would be enough to keep the pikeys at bay ? Or might the actors be in for an egging (or worse ) ?

Probably don't even know what an opera is... You'll just see them in the background jumping around

Thusday would be the worst evening day at meadowhall (as people still associate thursday and late shopping night) and it's also still holidays for some schools around here and they all seem to go to meadowhall..

All the kids might have gone home though - I'm off there in a few hours (need to pick something up), so I can get a "ned-report" later on....

I'm not really sure I see the connections with this and your typical flashmobbing event? Do people get to participate as extras in the opera, according to messages sent to their mobile a few minutes beforehand?

Is there a deliberate irony here considering what all the locals call meadowhall?
