BLADERUNNER - Are the deleted scenes included on the S3 Complete set then? They seemed to have been missed off the extra features lists I've been looking at. And are these new features?

Profiles of all the main characters including interviews with Claudia Black, Ben Browder, Paul Goddard and Anthony Simcoe
Interview with David Hemper
Interview with Guy Gross

Been a while since I saw the old 2-disc releases of S3 but I don't recall those being on there.

Been a while since I saw the old 2-disc releases of S3 but I don't recall those being on there.
Extras are:

Farscape Undressed featurette
Interview Profiles of main characters (including interviews with Claudia Black, Ben Browder, Paul Goddard & Anthony Simcoe)
David Hemper interview
Guy Gross interview
Gallery of stills (featuring concept artwork, character and prop photography)
Original Sci-Fi trailers

Commentaries:

Self-Inflicted Wounds Part II with Claudia Black
Eat Me with Guy Gross
Green Eyed Monster with Ben Browder and TonyTilse
Relativity with Peter Andrikidis and Lani Tupu
The Choice with Claudia Black
The Choice (additional) with Rowan Woods and Justin Monjo

The deleted scenes are included but they are not listed on the back of the box only on the inner disk cases.

Only watched one episode yet and this is my first time seeing season 3, but picture and sound quality seem on a par with the other box sets. I liike the new title sequence and theme and I'm glad they got rid of the wormhole sequence from the menu and replaced it with a Moya starburst. The wormhole one was just too loud and annoying (although I'll most likely be tired of the new one after repeated viewings).

I can tell I will zoom through viewing this series as it is such a great show, so I really hope Contender get and release season 4 sooner rather that later. Pretty please...

I agree. When I asked Contender about the release date the first time, they said the release date would be early in 2005. The second time they said 10/2005. The only thing that possible could delay the release is acquiring all the extras they want.

Hopefully Amazon will have the S3 box on sale soon, because I just sold the individual releases.

I got my season 3 from Amazon so I assume they already have it in stock.

It took a long time for season 1 and 2 to drop in price so I don't think we will see it cheaper for some tiime.

Yes, that is exactly what I meant. I think that ~75 pounds is little too much for a season box set, so I don't mind waiting for a while.

The complete box set of season 4 comes out in Australia on 24th November.

So methinks Contender are biding their time so they can pick the best extras from the R1 and R4 sets for their release.

I wouldn't be surprised if the complete season 4 came out in R2 at the same time as the DVD of The Peacekeeper Wars.

Well that's me sold my old S3 sets (and S4 to follow, seen them all again just recently so I won't miss em until I can get my mitts on the new S4 set) - I now await a price drop on the S3 Complete set

Dare I wonder which region will put out the best release of Peacekeeper Wars

What a great price...

I think I'll stick with the R1 which is less than half that price at
DVD Soon.

Also at DVD Soon for the same price (around £7.80) are the first two of the new "Starburst" releases, these feature 7 episodes per set, and appear to contain all the extras available on the much more expensive versions.

If these continue to be released at this price point, then each season will work out at around £23, by far the cheapest way to purchase this excellent series.

Season 1 - Part 1 and Season 1 - Part 2

I would assume picture quality on those new R1 releases will still be inferior to the PAL sets tho (until I'm told otherwise of course )

Just get the DVD in January 2005, less than £8 from DVD Soon (as posted previously in this thread).

Yes, because Sky One have the exclusive rights next year.

As for the DVDs, I'll be buying the UK and US versions next year.
