Don't think it's that bad - some great lines...

'I got sperm in my eye...'

'Ohhh Sally dawson works for Asda..thanks you God...F..ing brillant, she wouldn't kiss me at school and now she works for Asda - That is poetic justice'

'Banter...'

'Even I drawn the line at piercing arseholes...'

'Pikey.. the earings are a dead give away..'

'-You got anything you'd like to weigh?
- you mean my penis?
- I'd say 28p
- 28p yes!
- that's light. '

Plus is got Sarah Alexander in it.

Agree with dunkrag - not that bad at all.

The girlfriend thought it was rubbish and didn't laugh once (well once then, at Mark Heap, who is by far the best thing in it) but I tought it was ok. Hope they shorten it to 1/2 hour from now on though.....

Agreed that Mark Heap was by far the best thing in it.. but he's not about to carry a show. The only scenes that got a smile out of me either had him or that doctor who was giving the dating tips in (also been in an ep of Alan Partridge and played Adrian Mole )

I enjoyed it, it's early days. and it's 30 mins too long per episode too. other than that, better than alot of crap out there.

Didn't think is was very good nor particularly bad. I agree that an hour was too long - if they'd have got rid of the crap and shortened it to 30 minutes it would have made for a better show.

I really enjoyed it. Reminded me of Jam as a drama....

its not a straight comedy by any means.

bizzarely good....

Mark Heap is a comedy genius

when you say Jam, i hope you mean staring at an actual pot of Jam for an hour, and not comparing this piece of drivel to chris morris' masterpiece?

it should be a crime to do so.

and i think my hero is actually more watchable than this! just because there's not enough punt or dennis on tv these days, but that might be nostalgia kicking in. milky milky ?

And he's "so good at telly".

I watched it and laughed out loud quite a bit.
Funnier than Jam, but then so was the Chechen terrorist's school siege.

If you want drivel, you should have checked out the "comedies" BBC were running at the same time last night. One show with the same audience of morons from the national lottery, who laugh and whoop at anything and everything, folowed by the slightly less awful "Eyes Down".

Hated it at first, the editing was really putting me off, and I hoped it wouldn't be like that through the whole show (which it was). Also it was a case of "spot the actor who's appeared in another (better) TV comedy show".

However, I managed to stick with it for the whole hour (please let it be down to 30 minutes next week) and got a couple of laughs out of it.

The second half was much, much better than the first. I laughed quite a lot in the final half hour. But the first was a bit poor. Very poor. Trying to be surreal for the sake of it.

Took me a while to get used to the camera work, but once I did, thought some of it was quite clever, like slowing down for a gesture. I think it'll take a while to get used to the characters too. Had to love the scene when the secretary kicked the bloke at the photocopier, then asked him out and told him she always ****** on a first date

I watched in stunned silence.. I had high hopes for this, good comedy artists were involved. It was absolutely dire.. I never laughed or even sniggered slightly once.

I kept waiting for the jokes to start.. I'm sorry to those that liked it.. but as far as I'm aware the jokes never started.

Will keep watching scrubs and my Spaced/Black Books DVD's ..

Got bored within the first 10-15 minutes, but did watch the entire programme. Deleted the Sky+ series link soon thereafter. Redefines the word dire.

I honestly thought I was going to throw up after the first 15 minutes of speed-up-and-slow-down-o-vision. The editing was so frickin annoying & didn't add anything to the show.

Mark Heap was the only person who made me laugh in the whole hour.

Maybe next week it'll have a plot, rather than just a series of not very funny sketches?

They couldn't string even the faintest of plots together for one hour... what hope have they for a half an hour ep? I am assuming that its half an hour per episode from now on...

It was a case of say something a bit 'out there', speed up and slow down, repeat this for an hour and advertise it absolutely everywhere all the time.

It's an hour long one this week too (I think), which is slightly alarming. Cut it down to 30 mins, chop out the chaff, get it tighter. It'd be better. As it stands, it is reasonable to have it on as background stuff.

1st episode highlight for me was the floater that didn't go away. Infantile? Moi?

I read somewhere last week (Q magazine I think ) that it was originally planned for a run of 6 episodes of 30 mins. Apparently C4 execs were so impressed with the initial screening that they commissioned it for 9 episode of one hour each

Well I enjoyed it. OK, it felt like a lot of other shows mixed together (Smack the Pony, Scrubs, Jam) but I thought it was pretty good. Nowhere near as good as Scrubs, though.

Agree with the comments that a 30 minutes show would be a lot better.
