having suffered a billion different and totally unfunny adverts that c4 has forced on practically every break, is there any hope for this show whatsoever?

it looks absolutely dire imo. isn't 9:30pm friday the usual slot for Will and Grace ? why is that slot always used for awful programming....

There was even an ad for this at the cinema when I went to see Motorcycle Diaries this evening.
No-one laughed, although I'm not sure if anyone was paying full attention.

Looks like they're trying to make a UK Scrubs equivilant (well, based in a hospital anyway).

The adverts I've seen for green wing have been absolute tripe! I thought it was supposed to be another comedy sketch show, is it supposed to be based around a hospital then?

I've been "Tivo'ing" and watching Scrubs every day, can't imagine it will half as good.

Radiotimes was raving about this in the current issue, the reviewer reckons its the best comedy for yonks, its got a cracking cast so i'm looking forward to it

i got as far as the first ad break. and i was cringing for every second up to it.

great cast;
drab and uninspired writing;
simply the worst editing i have EVER seen. EVER. and i've watched a LOT of crap in my time.

i really hope its only an hour long as a one off, because it's just dreadful tv. oh look a new season of scrubs has started, i wonder which i'll watch....

Oh my god this is absolutely awful. I hadn't got high hopes for it anyway, but its terrible. Nothing about it is even remotely amusing,, I didn't think smack the pony was funny, but this is bad bad bad. They haven't actually altered their writing style at all, its a sitcom... where are the characters, where is the plot? Its just a series of 10 seconds skits set in a hospital.

Its even worse than TLC (the bbc2 sitcom from about 18 months back)
