I'm guessing he resigned from Porto to go to Chelsea?

He definitely resigned from his job at Benfica.

He resigned himself to the fact that he is doing no good at United.

Haha

In all honesty I never really thought he was a good fit for the current United team that he inherited, but I'd be unsure what better candidate was available.

What he seems to like to do is find a team that is 98% of the way there, and use large resources to get them the extra. I really don't think he is a "rebuild a mess" type manager.

Then again, he isn't exactly awash with job offers is he?

I thought we should have gone for Lauren Blanc after Fergie left, or Moyes left, or LVG left.

Looks like tonights match is on BBC Red Button.

Just noticed it says 22-00 on Red Button. Why Friday night & why not on TV. Wasting my money with both BT Sport & Sky. I need a VPN.

How do you get to that then, when I press the red Button on Sky 115 it mention nothing about it? Is it Freeview only or something... ...bizarre it's on a Friday night but not televised!!

It’s very strange. If it’s not televised, just play it at 3pm tomorrow. Who moved it to a Friday?

He's stuck out a fairly strong side, I'm guessing he's going for it?

It's pretty ordinary stuff, we're playing ok but don't really look like scoring. Mikhatarian looks lost at the moment, I really feel for him because he showed so much promise but I'm not sure how many more chances he's going to get.

edit: Rashford would have scored one of those chances last season. Another I hope gets the run of things tonight.

Well, it's still 0-0 but it's pretty exciting...Rashford seems to love hitting the post!

Interesting (but not surprising) to not hear a peep from a certain 'fan' on this...can't hack it in the Premier League and why we were wise to sell.
