Ohhhh Jose is a madman, he'll beat you 'till you die
He'll charge around the touchline, and poke you in the eye
He'll get the ref to send him off
If that will help us win,
But you won't find him in the stands, he's in the laundry bin.

Stolen from the caf, made me chuckle

Interesting summer ahead with him onboard. I hope that means we can attract signings who might otherwise have looked us over. Any news on Giggs/his back room team?

i think we can expect him to bring his usual back room team and it will be down to Giggs to decide if he is happy with whatever role he is offered.

Giggs needs to go to another club, learn the trade & if any good then to come back.

Never gonna happen, if he leaves Utd, baring a miracle it's his dream of managing Utd over, many players have left OT to manage, who could claim to have done enough to warrant the job?

He needs to stay, take on the U21s if offered (if Joyce does go) and make a success of that (will be hard with players coming and going all the time) but if that's his opportunity and he needs to take it. Jose will bring his own back room of that there is no doubt.

Just watched Jose's short interview with MUTV, said the right things, I think hes hungry for this and looks ready, I cannot wait to see who he brings in and how we line up come the start of next season.

Whats the betting that its Man Utd v Chelsea first game....

The only two anywhere near are Larry White and Sparky (if he continues to impress).

Has Hughes ever won anything? Get the impression he doesnt particularly like the club in any case.

Does he have to have won anything? He's been an international manager and plays the right way.

Would be hard to have the success at another club, you'd have to go to another top club in reality. If he wants to be United manager I'd suggest that being the U21 is the way to go, a bit like Zidane at Real Madrid. He'd have to massively impress elsewhere to be invited back

Celtic would have been a good move for him I think, he could have won, played the right way and getting to the group stages of the CL would be seen as a succesful season for him. Not sure how you'd judge his success as a middling Premiership club, playing the United way and getting relegated?

For a manager to have been around so long and at so many clubs, I think he has to have a winning track record to go to a club like United. Lets just hope Jose works out.

I'd tend to agree, that's why I said if he continues to impress.

Without being at a bigger club, it's difficult to have a winning track record.

It was a no brainer before this game, mind you he slightly fluffed one just after.

I'd rather Rashford went than Rooney to be honest.

Rooney can turn a game, even on one of his bad days.

Don't understand why anyone would say not to take Rooney.

He only does it once in a blue moon though nowadays.
