7-0 Gary is leading Barcelona into a false sense of security, however, he is not quite ready for United yet.

This was always his plan, that way their 8-0 second leg victory will be all the more humiliating for Barca!
If he really is going to be your new manager, you're in serious trouble. How many great players make really great managers? I think most of the players in that era are finding it's easier to snipe in newspapers about the current state of play, rather than be the manager themselves.
I reckon going to Celtic for a bit would be a great move for Giggs, he can win with ease, and then his return can be at least justified.

It would make sense for Giggs to have got some proper experience elsewhere, but the Celtic link seems to be nonsense. Giggs genuinely was away due to family reasons, he has just lost his grandfather.

Gary Nevile won't be the next Man Utd manager, we dont even need to speculate on that.

I can only think of two ex players who could possibly be able to take over : Sparky and Larry White.

I suppose a deal is likely and will be agreed before he takes over, I can't see LVG being happy and might leave though. Seems an odd timing though, he's won the last game.

Who from! Mourinho would be a strange choice now/ end of season as the question would be why not in December 15?
Having said that, if I was him, would much prefer to have a break and take over in the summer, full pre-season etc.

I think its pretty inevitable you will get Mourinho, It will be interesting to see if the 3 year curse continues though... if he does go to United you can say goodbye to your youth set up.

If not him, then who else? There doesn't seem to be many other candidates being touted about.

I don't think it is. There isn't the longest queue of interested parties for him of the highest calibre to suit his ego. It would all seem to depend on how the season pans out. I can still see Top 4 being achieved, although wouldn't surprise me if LVG resigns at the end of the season.
There was a good piece in The Times earlier in the week by Matthew Syed, penned as an open letter to Ed Woodward on why the club shouldn't go for Jose. Talked about the way SAF cultivated the future of the club in particular. Despite his lip service to it on reappointment to Chelsea, Jose hasn't a clue how to do that, it just doesn't fit his personality.
It may be unrealistic to have a really long term manager again, but bringing through young players must be part of it.

Thats already happened, hasnt had a director for over 18 months now, think Choccy left and never got replaced.
Our youth setup is a joke currently...

It is pretty obvious where Jose was going the moment he got the sack. not sure how that will help Utd though
Nice to see some media and some of these boards getting on the 'Leicester City will win the PL' bandwagon.
