HDMI Switch?

Can anyone recommend an HDMI switch, for consolidating several devices to one HDMI input on a TV? Preferably an automatic one.

I may find myself in need of one soon, and want to avoid having to physically change over cables.

Thanks!

That looks distinctly similar to the product I bought that caused me no end of grief, cutting out etc.

I'm in the market for a new HDMI switcher too - even if it costs a bit more - so would be interested to see what people recommend.

i bought this one, after finding out that the even cheaper (non-powered) ones weren't compatible: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1216074644...72.m2749.l2649

it comes with a manual select button plus IR, although i found that it switches automatically anyway. it's worked ok for me so far - about 3 months.

I've had this one (4x2) for a couple of years with no problems. Handy if you have a TV and a projector.

I use this one: Atlona AT-PRO2HD88M - HDBaseT 8 by 8 HDMI Matrix Switcher*

*I don't really. I just wanted to one up the last two posters with their expensive switchers.

Any more suggestions for a smaller switch? Say 3 or 4x1?

Too many consoles.

Don't get the Duronic one (or clones) from post 2 it's pants.

I replaced it with one of these which works much better: Kinivo 301BN Premium 3 port High speed HDMI switch with: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Though it appears to no longer be available. I don't know if there's a replacement model on there somewhere or something. The only downside is the LED's are too darned bright - I had to put tape over them!

4K HDMI switch

Sorry to rsurrect an old thread but I need advice.

We have a second home in Bangalore, India, where we plan to spend October to March each year. I am building a Home Cinema system there as well and wanted some advice about the best 4K HDMI switch which is as lossless as possible. The TV is a 55" LG 4K that I bought last year (Not sure if it is OLED but think it is) and my sister-in-law got a very good offer for a Yamaha Musiccast Bar 400 soundbar, which she bought for us. The problem is that the Yamaha has only one HDMI input and ideally I need 2, one for a 4K blu-ray player and another for a Tata Sky 4K Satellite box which they introduced earlier this year. With my OCD, I don't like plugging the devices directly into the TV .

So the answer seems a high quality HDMI switch that allows full 4K pass through. Such things might be difficult to buy in India and so I plan to take one there from the UK. Any advice on the best ones? I have heard good reports about Zettaguard but my knowledge about these gizmos is limited.

Please advice.
