Agreed. Lloris kept them in it.

For 45 minutes, we looked so aggressive and exciting. Spurs were not that great. They're above us in the table, but if they are the standard, then we're as good as them. Our problem is we're so nervous and so wasteful. When Micky T went off, we got jelly legs.

I don't think it's a great league this year: like last year, there are too many teams who are quite good but not consistent. If we can calm down a bit and get used to winning (!) then we'll be fine.

Very insipid.

Entertaining to watch the referee get every single big decision wrong, though.

Palace are pretty "full blooded" in some of their tackles!

Although Rojo and Zlatan are lucky boys.

Looks like more ground lost on those above...there's always the FA Cup to defend though!

...ugly game from 2 awful teams tonight!

United, or Palace?

I think some of the little passing movements and interchanges we've made tonight have been really good.

The United fans are in really good voice tonight.

...both to be honest! Some of our play was excellent but we're too inconsistent...and this Palace side was awful, a good team would have given them a spanking!

...I think I'm finding the post-fergie era a bit hard to take...bit like post-brexit for some. We'll get there eventually...maybe!

As said, that was a hard slog to watch. Rojo is an idiot & if he can't control himself, then bugger off. A penalty & a goal denied, well it is United after all. In the end a great goal, awful game but as said some of the passing moves were nice to watch...just.

Bit harsh on Rojo. I never thought I'd say it, but he's been immense the last few games.

Yes, but, you can't have a player going in like that, & getting sent off all the time, lets face it he should have had two reds over the last week. Thats no good for any team.

True. By the same measure, Zlatan should have been sent off. I just hope the video ref doesn't get him.

Quite rare that you see bad ref decisions even themselves out over the course of a game, but we saw it in this one - two wrong decisions in our favour, two wrong decisions against us, but in the end the better team won so it could've been worse in the end.

Rojo has been so good at centre back for us, but he will be a marked man after tonight and Goodison the other weekend - he has to banned from even thinking of going in like that in a match, he's going to hurt someone if he carries on like that.

And of course there was nothing wrong with Zlatan handling the ball to an offside Pogba for your first goal ?

By all accounts the ref was awful all game to both sides but I don't think United can have any complaints really.

How the ref failed to give Rojo a red card is anyone's guess but ... the 2nd time this season he has got off with it. The FA can't do anything due to their pathetic rules - someone will get seriously hurt next time ( and there will be a next time ) and the FA will be partly to blame.

That was a phenomenal cross by Lingard. Made it an easy finish for Zlatan.
