Hasn't rained in Manchester for ages.

Sad. His arrogance and sheer force of personality is exactly what we're missing. I'd have rather have had him standing on the half-way line with a dodgy knee than some of the 'stars' who get a game each week. I wish him well.

Don’t get you lot. This makes sense for all parties, he’s clearly not getting near the first team, and allows him to play in the MLS.

We only have one, maybe two important games left this season, and he’s just not going to play. Now we are out of the CL, there is minimal risk and we have enough cover for Lukaku.

Great season last year, to come to the PL at his age for the first time and do so well was phenomenal. I wish him all the best.

Hmmm, Lukaku's doing a pretty good job for us up front, not his fault that the service is crap! ...he's pretty damn quick too for a big guy!

I know Swansea are awful, but again we look so much better with Mata in the team. Lingard playing well, even Sanchez and Pogba look lively today.

Two great saves by DDG...ridiculous really, this game is so one sided but we still haven't wrapped it up!

...you have to think Man City would be 5 or 6 up by now!!

Yes. You nailed it.

The difference between us and City is that we don't bury teams when we're on top. We played well today, but second half we could have easily conceded and we've been there before, let one go and then the nerves show. City are not afraid to go behind because they've got the ego and they know they'll get other chances.

Does Jose help things when he tries to play games out and hold on to an advantage? Clearly, he gets results. I think I just prefer the cocky United teams who know they're good enough to win even when they're behind and when they're up, they try and get another one.

Like Liverpool, today.

He's the sort of player we need at United.

Don't say much for the rest of our players then.

There's plenty of excellent players around these days that are under 30.

Hopefully Wolves will be signing plenty of them this summer thanks to Uncle Jorge

All he has shown is that he has still got it in a lower league, I think the PL is a little different.

Good luck to him, he should be head and shoulders above the majority of players in that league. He’s class.

It’s no surprise at his age, and after his injury that he’s not good enough for Utd anymore. Very thankful for him last year, he filled a much needed gap. Whilst I don’t think Lukaku is really the right player for us, he has been contributing much more in the last few months, and his goal record is good, Zlatan would not be getting any game time. Best for both parties.

Looks like there's no point in Pep resting any players at the weekend then.

I don't want to play to 'not lose' this. I want us to have a go.

Pep is a smug git, isn't he?

Maureen will set up to defend, defend, defend and hope to get a point. If we do that I hope we get truly battered! This is game to go out and win (...Liverpool did it) and spoil the party...we can't stop them winning the title but if we win today it will hurt them.

...honestly expect to be disappointed for the next couple of hours...might be surprised though.
