Blimey, if we do manage to hold onto the 3 points...and I have my doubts...this team is definitely not good enough to be challenging for the title! Disappointing performance
EDIT...to be fair, we did look likely to mess up like old times at 1-0, then we bang in 3 goals to make the above statement look daft . ...still don't think we're good enough, happy to be proved wrong though

I know. Imagine playing rubbish but still winning 4-0. Shameful.

No love for an excellent 4-0 against Everton?

We'd be drawing these games a year ago, so something has changed.

I agree 100%. Unless we up the game, we will lose or draw games again. Today the score flattered us. Some people on here (not you Henry) need to stop being childish & "Wake up & smell the roses".

Still better than last year, but it will be interesting when we play City

What the heck happened there ?? I stopped watching with 10 minutes to go and it looked like Everton were more likely to equalize than you score another.
If I was a United fan I would be waiting til I had played at least one team outside the bottom third of the table before wondering if there was any improvement.

We waited until Rooney went off before humiliating them.

Better than a team going backwards.

That'll rule out your bunch by the time we meet then.

As I was saying. Stoke 0 - Chelsea 4.

Really, a win away from home is a good result IMO. If you're going to compare yourself to cherry picked results of other teams you'll spend your life disappointed.

Nope, we should tear teams like Southampton & Stoke apart, just as Chelsea did. Now we are below City on goal difference, just a matter of time before we drop down unless we get better strikers or something alters.

I know. We should have had all 4 points instead of just 3.

Also isn't that what JM does? Defend well and win, that's what he has always tried to do. From where you were, I'd consider it an improvement. If you want to watch a flakey team try and put ten past a team, then the Etihad is just a tram ride away.

Some people look at the bigger picture. Even José said that we needed to kill off games, so I guess José is never happy.

His idea of killing off a game is suffocating it, not scoring 6.

Seriously, MICON, yesterday's result was a good one. Have you forgotten the last few years already? We were wretched to watch and fell to pieces in the last ten minutes. Jose seems to have done something about that. Southampton should have scored in the second half, that was a good away day.
