Rambo 5 - Comedy, Sci Fi, thriller???

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/35972

Could be interesting, could be a total disaster. Who knows???

Personally, i think he just needs a hug and a nice lady to settle down with.

I really looked forward to the latest Rambo movie and enjoyed it hugely...but PLEASE don't let there be another one!!
I thought the end of the last one finished it all off nicely...with a long walk home

If he wants to re-visit another of his old characters, then lets have another movie with John Spartan in please and leave John Rambo in peace at his Dad's farm.

Putting Rambo in Alien Vs Predator 3 might be interesting. Fox would have to bag the rights.

Rambo could be launched into space, wipe out a colony of xenomorphs single handedly and then take on a predator or 2 while also dealing with his inner demons. Predators respect him (or fear him?) and return Rambo to Earth.

He is then seen walking on the road again, and Brian Dennehy drives along and pops him from behind.

John Rambo RIP.

The next Rambo film should be about him meeting his dad and they then spend the entire film crying about all their lost time together. Then go into therapy sessions.

How about a Richard Curtis rom-com? Rambo Actually

Now working as a journalist in a London TV studio, John Rambo is hopelessly in love with the glamourous newsreader he writes for (Emily Mortimer) but too shy to say anything. When she falls for the new producer and office romeo (Colin Firth), he can only watch helplessly from the sidelines. But when teh romeo proves a cheat, Rambo decides to win the girl over with the help of his wise-cracking gay sidekick (John Hannah) and some hand grenades.

Brokeback Rambo?

It couldn't be any more insipid than the current release anyway.

How about getting Diablo Cody in to write the next one. Get Moldy Peaches on the soundtrack.

Or maybe Sly's going to merge this with his Death Wish remake and take Rambo back to the mean streets of the USofA and make somekind of Urban Vigilante thriller!

Actually, a 'survivalist' story much more in the vein of the original First Blood wouldn't go amiss, imho, though whether that's genre-bending I don't know?

Yeah, a remake of Death Wish 3 but with Rambo in it instead.

What about a remake of Eraserhead?

Rambo returns home, meets a girl and settles down only for the radiation he was exposed to, when he decimated a Burmese forest with a unexploded WWII atom bomb, to cause him to have bizarre and terrifying visions and his wife to spawn a mutant lamb.

Back in the USA Rambo sees all the crime and decides to join the police to clean up the streets with a toothpick sticking out of the side of his mouth.
