Wall-E's the big one for me this year. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a classic.

Are they really making Kung Pow 2?

Looking forward to in 2008:

*Cloverfield - Blair witch stylie :P
*Sweeney Todd The demon barber of fleet street - Although i seem to be the only person remotely excited about this
*Cloverfield - Monster movie woohoo
*Chronicals of Narnia 2 - Long private joke running with this one
*Harry Potter (Is it me or does Harry get more annoying with each new film?)
*Helly boy - hopefully better than the first.

Oh, just noticed this on your list... is this a definite? If so, I'm curious (if it's a true sequel, that is, and not another dumb remake/re-imagining of a 70s/80s cult horror flick...)

That's out for R1 dvd release in Feb, got mine pre-ordered already. Its hardly a big film so I think we'll be lucky to see it any time soon.

My list would be:

No Country for Old Men
The Dark Knight
There will be Blood
Juno
Rambo
City of Men

there's plenty of other stuff coming out i'll go and see, but these are really the only ones so far i'm really excited by.

Opps meant City of Men, the spin off from the TV show City of Men, itself the spin off of City of God. Might be a case of waiting for dvd release though, as only the first 2 series of the show made it onto UK tv, and BBC4 at that!

As already mentioned you can forget Jurassic Park IV until at least the middle of next year - even if they started filming tomorrow, average of 6 months of production and then post production would mean you are looking at summer '09 at the absolute earliest.
