Gangs of London - Sky Atlantic/Cinemax

I've seen the first two episodes of this and really enjoying it. Stars Joe Cole (from Peaky Blinders) and Michelle Fairley. Created by Gareth Evans who did The Raid and it features the same kind of "ultra-violence".

We're only on episode 4 and so far so good, the violence might not be to everyone's taste but it's nicely over the top for me.

Anyone know if this is coming out to buy on any of the digital platforms ?
Or will it be staying just on sky ?
Fancy watching and my kodi days long gone but now tv what with “boost” now seems to be quite expensive

Almost certainly will come to buy on iTunes as all the Sky exclusive shows turn up there. However many not be until after the run on Sky concludes or even some weeks later.

Binged this over the last couple of days. Started off brilliantly with some absolutely brutal fight scenes in the first half of the series, then seemed to lose its way a bit after episode 5 & dropped the action side of it almost completely. Introducing new characters in the last couple of episodes felt like an odd choice too & I wasn't a fan of the timey-wimey structuring of the final episode.

Some solid acting from a great ensemble, but Joe Cole felt horribly miscast with his sleepy-eyed, slappable face. He should have swapped roles with the guy playing his brother.

Overall though, well worth a watch & it made a very pleasant change from the usual Danny Dyer-type cockerny facker Landan gangsters we usually get in UK productions.
