Westworld (season 3)

Looks like a new direction for the show (kind of necessary after how season 2 ended), and I reckon it will be all the better for it. Happy to see Aaron Paul joining.

Hard to say, it depends on why you weren't enjoying it. The s2 ending is genuinely epic and left me eager for more but can't deny that the season is weird. From this trailer you may be able to just dive in with s3.

Basically because it felt all over the place and wasn't really obvious as to what the hell was going on. The going backwards and forwards with the timeline really doesn't help. It's not a Tarantino film fgs.

It's not easy to follow. I don't think you should have to watch YouTube videos to understand what you've watched but IIRC it does make sense - which isn't always the case with these things. I've tended to let it wash over me and enjoy the spectacle.

I considered giving up on this half way through S2 but I was glad I stuck with it and I'm looking forward to the new season.

I gave up on season 2 almost immediately. Almost 2 years ago now. Sky stuck it on the planner so they were always there to watch. And I decided to do so.

And, you know what, I have no clue what I watched but I did love it. Not quite as much as season 1 the last few episodes, especially
are great TV.

Don't watch it while drunk or posting on twitter. It demands concentration to figure out where or when you are, and even then, are you really sure?

Really looking forward to this.

Wasn't a big fan of S2, but this looks great ! (No obvious spoilers)

This is not going to go well ... I don't remember watching half the stuff in the "previously on Westwood" bit of the season 3 opener

I swore half of it was new! The library of books for example.
The sound in the 2am showing was off to me, had to have it in max and still struggled to hear it all.
It was lovely looking but I ended it not sure what in earth was going on. I thought Liam reminded me of jimmy (young version of black hat man) and assumed that was his dad but clearly not.

Is it weekly, or has the whole season dropped?

Glad it wasn't just me then

I was also sure the end of Season 2 had Thandie Newton's character going into the real world and Delores still inside Westworld.

Just got round to watching S3 E7 and I thought for a while Theatre of Hates "Do you believe in Westworld" would make a good trailer song - but convinced this episode has lots of Theatre of Hate / Spear of Destiny quotes sure there was "Original Sin" and others -

Like others, I gave up mid season 2. Will wait until the end of season 3 and binge watch rest of season 2 and season 3.

Not sure I can bring myself to finish off season 2 -- it just got impenetrable.
