Not much action in this thread for S4? I'm guessing lots of people bailed,

People ... get stuck back in, the last few episodes have been equal to the heights of S1 and this show is back on track.

Season 3 spoiler:

Yes still watching, and I encourage those that bailed after Season 3 to give Season 4 a watch. It's really good, top notch even.

Yeah we just caught episode 9 last night, definitely better than anything else at the moment. It was definitely a slow start but you can see what it's built up to.

really enjoying it here as well - thought the second half of the 3rd season was pretty good, but this season is cracking

Ep 10 was super stuff. Reminded me of 24 at its very best.

I wouldn't say this thread has been quiet... I just don't think it's the type of show you can discuss like with TWD, etc... plus there's been a two week break I think?

Gotta give props to the guy playing Haqqani though, totally looks the part in that role!

Just been catching up - welcome return to form. Last three episodes have been outstanding.

This!

...and ep.9 (the Saul exchange one). We watched both back to back as we'd had a little backlog and it evoked memories of "just one more episode" going through 24 boxsets back in the day. You can totally see elements of top-tier 24 episodes all over this at the moment (except with liberal sprinkling of "fcuk" instead of "dammit").

A stellar pair of episodes - this is shaping up to be my favourite season. Not missing Brody (and the soap-opera family storylines) in the slightest.

It's a much better series than I was expecting, but a few too many telegraphed plot twists for my liking.

But I am enjoying the return to making it a more political version of 24 and less threaded with the emotional drama and baggage that Brody had.

A great return to form after the disjointed 3rd series, but not sure there's anywhere new for this to go if it gets a 5th series.

Wow, just watched Episodes 6-10 over the last few nights and this has really hit form now. S2 & S3 were OK, but you just felt that they were inferior to the superb opening series but I have to say that this series is brilliant.

Just saw episode 10 last night. The best episode and probably the best series so far. I hope they conclude it nicely and don't make any more. They'll never make as good episodes as 7-10 again.

Was worried they'd struggle to keep up the standards in ep11 and sadly it was the case.

Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, but Quinns plot was teetering along the lines of being 24 levels of daftness and have a feeling the finale will just be a whimper gearing up for for S5...

I'm happy with the way things have gone. It's not as smart or as good as Season 1, but it's way better than it has been at points.

Last episode is tedious beyond belief. Very unsatisfying, especially after such a superb season.

agree with above probably the dullest Homeland episode yet and a massive anti-climax
