Watched most of the fisrt two eps, but skipped so as it was so dull, the voice acting was very iffy in places, and it had too many Phantom Menace droid moments.

Have now lost all hope of the live action series being any good.

Enjoyed both episodes. I thought these were better than the movie which felt very much aimed at kids and a little drawn out length wise for the story. These were much sharper and although still obviously still aimed at kids, felt more star wars (as in the original trilogy). If they can keep the quality up and avoid repeating the same kinds of storylines over and over (negotiations and rescues every week) it should be a good run.

Not really. There's one new character that was introduced in the film but you get to see the relationship to the existing characters pretty quickly anyway.

Loved the first two eps. Hell, I think I enjoyed them more than Heroes so far.

As has been mentioned a few times, the 'film' is the starting point for this series, but you won't have missed much plot-wise if you haven't seen it.

This series is aimed at eight year olds. It was enjoyable enough (I especially liked Yoda's speech to the clone troopers), but it doesn't come close to Heroes in terms of entertainment or complexity.

I agree with you, but Heroes really has gone off on a tangent this season - i was just backing up Niceguygeoff since he has a point...

Woah, fellas. Clone Wars isn't gonna be as complex or as grown-up as summat like Heroes, and I wasn't comparing it as such.

I just said that I enjoyed Clone Wars more.

sadly, i expect so. probably the super definition yello-ray boxset of the original trilogy and hopefully a real lightsabre.

Really? Thats good news considering how much I liked the story of the game The Force Unleashed.

How many episodes are in this season of Clone Wars? My son is really enjoying this. Isn't 9pm a little late to be showing this in the US??

Third episode was good, and it looks like the fourth one will be great. Having said that, the fortune cookie wisdom at the start of each episode is going to get very annoying very quickly.
