I'm surprised Ad-Aware didn't pick it up, how about CWShredder?

Nope, neither. It doesn't even seem to be an actual site.

I think it's a script imbedded somewhere. No idea where, though..:searchme:

Hijack This should find it, download it from here

http://tomcoyote.com/hjt/

Click the Scan button on the left. Once this is done click to save log and save the file Hijackthis.log, now exit the program. Open the Log in Notepad and highlight the entire contents and select copy. Now go to this forum and start a new thread and paste the contents of the log into the thread

http://www.spywareinfo.com/forums/in...p?showforum=30

Once you have received advice on what should be removed, reopen HijackThis. Scan again. You have changed nothing and this scan result will be the same as the first. Place a checkmark in the box in front of each item you plan to remove.

Having had to clean out a few machines lumbered with search page browser hijacks recently, I'd say the best tools for the job are CWShredder and HijackThis. Adaware was pretty useless. Spybot was better.

Some of the hijacks involve a number of running processes which repair any fixes made by your anti-spyware stuff, so you may need to boot into safe mode before running CWShredder and HijackThis. Fix the problems, reboot and scan again to see if it did the job.

Unhappy Spybot took away my ebay tool bar and now I cant get it back

Downloaded Spybot and removed everything it said I should. Noticed ebat tool bar on their list, but went ahead anyway. I figured I could get it again later if it.

Now I cannot find my toolbar. I tried to download it again from ebay, but it just wont!

Right clicking TOOLS my list still included ebay toolbar, but I cannot access it.

It looks like another botch job as I didn't bother reading anything and was too busy drinking coffee.

I tried the "Recover" button on Spybot, but still have had no luck!

Any idea how I can get it back?

There's a step-by-step guide on how to de-spyware your Windows install over at Overclockers.com. I don't recommend mucking about with F-Prot (as they suggest) - use Stinger instead - but the rest is sound and contains detailed IE cookie settings that I'd not even considered before!

am seriously hacked off with this now!

keep getting this thing pop up every half hour or so and shut down the connection - then it dials up asianraw.something !!!!! and I ain't talking Sushi!!!!!!!

then I get a little £0.00 at the bottom and a running commentary on how much pron I'm viewing! If I leave the pc on and walk off for an hour I'll be spending heaps and getting no action!!!!

Spybot, Adaware, AVG, CWShredder - all failed!

I'm no clever arse with the PC and understanding much of the jargon is impossible sometime and I don't want to spend ££ on progs - so in other words HELLLLLPPPPPP!!!!

Cry

What do you do if all the programs on the first page don't sort things out. I downloaded a load of music. Now my homepage has been hijacked, get millions of pop-ups and it takes ages to get anything done.

I've got some programme called PDSched.exe keep trying to access the internet (blocking it with Zone Alarm at the mo). Can't get rid of it for love or money (tried deleting entries for it using HijackThis with no joy). Help!
