We generally go to the luxe cinema which has plenty of distance to the people front and behind.
But as we donít want to use a bus unless essential, will have to go normal one we can walk to.
Being a student at least means we can go to early showings to spread out people.

Apparently Cineworld's booking system will allow any number of people from the same household to sit together. Not sure how they know that is not just you and a few mates.

Well itís not for them to police you. If you want to mix with friends, thatís your lookout.
So people who want to be apart must book separate

Though if course itís never really worked well with unlimited, me and boyfriend both have cards but to book online we both have to log on at same time, discuss which seats to book and then both try and grab at sane time. Would they try and sit us apart? As not same booking?
Weíll probably end up having to do in person from now on.

No you don't. You can add another unlimited card to your account and then book for both of them at the same time. My wife and I have unlimited cards and she's never booked a ticket in her life, I do it all for us.

It does mean I could just book tickets for her whenever I want, messing up her allocation etc but it appears Cineworld don't want up apply an limitations or controls, like her verifying she wants a ticket I booked for her.

Odeon Limitless

Ah thatís handy. But could partner still use his app to just book him?
Will have to ring odeon sometime to ask them to add the cards together.
(Do you mean cineworld does this? As I gave an odeon card, sorry wrong name used)

LOL quoting my own post ...

Just got an email confirming my local Odeon (Guildford) is reopening on the 10th July

And my Limitless membership has been extended to September, "which includes a little extra time on us to thank you for your patience". My membership was up in mid-April so that is way more than a little extra

13th July for us.

there does not seem to be a lot of stuff on during the day beyond some Spy Kids film. I'd prefer to go during the quieter time of day if possible. Don't want to rush there when its very busy but always want to support them now. I may even BUY A DRINK!

And no classic women's movies lots of Batman and Star Wars.

Apparently OH has spoken, we are seeing Bloodshot

So booked it all, seating is unreserved so they will allocate when we get there, Which means as we booked seperately, they will count us as 2 separate people and therefore sell less tickets than they in theory could.

Nothing in the 'back catalogue' particular appeals apart from Bloodshot but ... TENET is out pretty soon after they reopen

Do wonder how they'll struggle until a tentpole film like Tenet comes out, yet even that only the nerds probably know about. I suppose it gives them a bit of a chance to try things and improve before the big release.

What's the seating arrangement - are there rules for the industry, or will each chain/cinema decide themselves?

Off to see Empire on Friday night at our little local one. God knows how they'll make money as no seats taken around you.

It'll be quite pleasant i reckon.

I'm assuming the latter considering my mate has informed me some cafes and schools are doing very little if nothing to prevent its spread, so sounds like all depends on the owner/manager.
