Rewatching Chuck

With nothing really to watch over the festive period, I sat down and decided to rewatch Chuck from beginning to end.

I'd really forgotten just how good it was, yes some of the stories were hokey, and the really annoying Subway product placement and in show advertising were annoying, but overall it was really great to return to the Burbank Buy More, spend time with the Bartowski's, enjoy the geeky in jokes and hear the performances of Jeffster again.

Still at the ending though

It was a fun show, wasn't it?
Only missed the last (short) season, so don't know how it ended (unless, Google, obv).

The ending was left open to interpretation and there was never full closure on the finale which was a little annoying

The last couple of seasons got a bit silly at times, but it was a great show. Especially Jeffster.

Loved the show but hated Morgan with a passion.

It's a shame Yvonne Strahovski doesn't do more stuff nowadays, she's gorgeous.

Though I did see that she was in a film with Adrien Brody recently where she got her norks out very briefly.

"Manhattan Night" has 33% on Rotten Tomatoes... hmmm.. how much is very briefly?

I've sexed her.....

....in Mass Effect 2...

well it's as close as I'm gonna get

now I'm sad...

What I had forgotten about Chuck is the huge list of guest stars who popped up, everyone from Stan Lee...to Linda Hamilton to Timothy Dalton.

I'm now listening to Jeffster on Spotify

Superb show. One of my all-time favourites. I can't think of anything in the current crop of US TV that matches the level of sheer fun it was.

The amnesia stuff in the final season was a little irritating after we'd spent four years invested in that relationship, as was the DVD producers' choice to put the (much better) extended cut of the series finale only in the bonus features where the casual viewer would miss it.

Damn you oldskool, I'm gonna have to watch it all again now...

ps. Any chance of Netflix reunion movie/series?

Seriously I remember being utterly devastated at the end of this show. I had depression from coming off tramadol after a long period and it nearly finished me off!! Haha

I'd suggest Brooklyn 99 being a current fun show.

My nieces are meeting ZL at the Telford Comicon in December. Of course, all the guys in the family want Yvonne's phone number... sooooooo predictable.
