The Bends is one of the greatest rock albums of all time but OK Computer remains their masterpiece. It's so gloriously full of imagination.

I adore Hail To The Thief too and Pablo's good in a far more straightforward way. I like Amnesiac a hell of a lot more than I did originally but everything else I actively dislike.

£60-110!! Mental. Was actually surprised that it is retailing at £23.99 - decent value. Have ordered one. My 2 cents worth its OK Computer, The Bends, In Rainbows, Moon Shaped Pool in that order for me. Was so dissapointed by Kid A and Amnesiac at the time, never got into them. Should give them another go.

Radiohead are one of those rare bands of our generation who have produced two albums which are widely regarded as classics no matter what people think of the rest of their output. I think The Bends just shades OK Computer for me, but both are brilliant pieces of work and listening to them takes me right back to that moment in time.

I really like Moon Shaped Pool but have struggled to get in to much of their stuff in between. I like some of their tracks from all of the albums but have found a lot of them to be impenetrable. I'm sure it will click at some point, just one album at a time.

OK Computer just pips it for me, because I listened to it so much at a difficult time, so it's special to me, apart from being an amazing album anyway. It just pips Kid A.

The Bends is a great album, but I'd take their experimental stuff over it. So...

OK Computer > Kid A > Amnesiac > The Bends > Hail to the Thief > In Rainbows > A Moon Shaped Pool > Pablo Honey > The King of Limbs.

Shows the quality of the band when three different albums Kid A, OK Computer & The Bends are described as classics/ masterpieces.

Must be a very difficult band to get into if you weren't around at the time, much like Pink Floyd I suppose.

so, has anyone actually got oknotok on black vinyl yet?

Notice that its not for sale on line anywhere now with out a wait, even my pr-order has been affected.

Looks like at the moment the Ltd Ed blue vinyl is not as rare as a Black Vinyl version.

Yes, this a couple of weeks ago, and it arrived the day after release. Not had chance to play it yet as am on hols. I then saw a shop was selling the blue version, and ordered that as well - sucker for these things.

I love that all the B-sides and three songs left off the album are all together. There is a great podcast of John Kennedy Radio X with Phil Selway who goes through yhe album track by track, its a brilliant listen for anyone who loves OK Computer.

Yeah loving the extras record. Sound quality is great too.

As for the main album, I don't notice a huge increase in quality compared to original CD or streaming. As I understand, this vinyl is pressed from a new remaster. There are some songs that really shine through like Subterranean Homesick Alien.

Managed to get the blue version from local independent a couple of days before release.

18 hours worth of OK Computer recording sessions have leaked on line. All very high quality. Includes original versions of tracks like Lift and True Love Waits. Here's the track list:

I totally get that bands have a responsibility to their fans not to release (what they think) is crap music. And I think when the early Achtung Baby demos leaked, Bono said it was like "someone reading my private notebook" but they must also get how interesting all this stuff is to fans?

If they don't want to monetise it, surely with technology now there's never been an easier way to just put stuff like this out on their own terms? Especially if its historic demos where its not like they're going to be revisiting them looking for new ideas.

I'm sure there is a lot of it and some of it probably isn't interesting, but to fans I'm sure a lot of those tracks will be fascinating.
