Netflix are horribly inconsistent too. I watched Step Brothers the other week and the pixelation and artefacts on show was incredible. I thought I was watching Now TV!!

I thought it might be a reduced bit rate due to Covid but firing up a new title proved it wasn’t the case.

I watched Knowing on Netflix the other week as well and it didn't seem right.

To be fair to NowTV though since I've upgraded to their HD boost package (ignoring the fact they think you should have to pay extra for HD in 2020...) I've found their picture quality to be pretty good.

Watched 1917 last night, it's currently 2.99 to rent the UHD on Amazon. Enjoyed it overall, very claustrophobic.

Has anyone seen Da 5 Bloods on Netflix yet? I've seen a couple of good reviews online.

Last two days I decided to catch up on two apocalyptic films, The Quiet Place and The Bird Box. In my opinion, The Quiet Place was better, absolutely loved it. Bird Box was just okay.

Really enjoyed Space Force. Hope it gets a season 2.

I actually bought this on Prime video and never got round to watching. That’s pretty terrible. Might have to request a refund.

BBC have been at it too. Lady Macbeth was streaming on iplayer a few months ago, much shorter than it should have been.

It's got to be either laziness, ineptitude or being utterly cheap. Either way it's ridiculous in 2020.

The Warrior Nun trailer has convinced me not to watch it. I think it looks dreadful, but I may just be too old for it.

With an eight year old daughter who loves things like Ninja Warrior, Total Wipeout and the Crystal Maze, I thought Floor Is Lava (Netflix) would be great.

*She* thought it was. I thought it was a little underwhelming. That might be because I found the various American participants who seemingly just *have* to be overly-enthusiastic and LOUD, annoying.

Mine did the same and I agree about the contestants. The triplets were the worst.

Ozark - Netflix (thread) - If you've not seen this yet, get it on your list! I just whizzed through all 3 seasons in 2 weeks.

It's a tense (sometimes grim) family thriller, exhilarating, packed with unpredictable plot, OMG/WTF, interesting characters (including the kids).

When it gets things right, this show is right up there with the very best, juggling various locations & simultaneous plotlines. Well worth 30 hours of your time. 8/10
