Loved Unorthodox- there’s a making of doc on Netflix too that’s definitely worth a watch AFTER watching the series. It makes a lot clearer which parts are true and which fictional.

Been watching Defending Jacob on Apple, in which Captain America’s son is on trial for murder. Definitely worth a watch.

Thanks! That was one of the best films of last year, looking forward to seeing that again.

If memory serves this hit cinemas just before lockdown.
Watched this last night. Didn't fancy it from the posters on the side of buses etc, but read a review that said it was a bit Kindergarten Cop. Thought it was great fun, even the kid was good.

Same, nothing overly special, but a fun and easy watch

Is it just me or has Justwatch's 'new additions' section been useless lately? There's like 1 or 2 new additions each day at most for the last couple of weeks when filtering by Netflix and Prime Video. The last time they had more than 5 was May 11th.

I know there's much more being added, but what was once a useful resource is now a bit crap.

Yeah I've found the same.

NowTV is accurate, others are slow, missing things for days (took days until they listed The Farewell for example) or just not showing stuff.

My guess is some of the services changed their API's and JustWatch hasn't caught up yet.

Glad it's not just me then. They're missing so much lately, I hope they can sort it out.

Tried to watch Love, Wedding, Repeat last night. A romcom with Olivia Munn & a 'what if?' alternate timelines twist? Sounded right up my street. Oh. My. *******. God. What a terrible excuse for a film.

It's not a good sign when I start shouting 'Oh **** Off!' at the TV before the titles even come up, but this made me do just that. Then they take the most irritating Tom Jones song, Delilah, for the opening credits & make it even more irritating by performing it in Italian. No. No. No.

Munn is lovely as ever & looks absolutely stunning, but Sam Claflin does his usual rubbish bumbling Hugh Grant impression & the rest of the ensemble seems to to have been cast by someone who watches too many shows on Dave.

I can't lie, I didn't watch the entire thing as I feared I might kick my TV in, but I struggled through the laugh-free first hour & they still hadn't got to the alternate timelines bit by then. WTF?

I've not hated a film so much since screaming 'Make some ******* sense!' at the screen while watching Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me in my youth. Avoid.

I've used the above for Amazon on occasion as it's always been far more comprehensive than Justwatch, and recently found they also do Netflix. Unfortunately the layout is quite poor if you just want a quick 'at a glance' overview which is why I usually just stick with Justwatch.

Great recommendation. Shame it doesn't do NowTV and Disney+ but I like how it gives all the detail on one page.

Edit: I can't read, it does do NowTV

'Leave No Trace' now on Netflix. My favourite film of 2018 by a mile.

The Simpsons on Disney+ is now available in original 4:3 aspect ratio. Go to Details and disable "Remastered version".

Still looks overly filtered though but much better than the travesty of the 16:9 version.
