Light of my Life (a somewhat timely apocalyptic drama written, directed and starring Casey Affleck) is also now on Prime.

tried October faction on netflix, if it was just the mum and dad fighting monsters, it would be good but the 2 teenagers and the mother in law drags into soap **** (also the 2 teenagers are annoying and just awful)

Just spotted that all of Veronica Mars is now on Starzplay. I've never seen it so will give it a go.

It's great. They have it in HD as well. Only seen it in SD as there is no UK blu-ray release.

Starzplay looks like it's 99p a month for 3 months. Not bad...

They've got Spartacus, Party Down... plus a bunch of cheesy horror films on there too.

Cheers, will try and get my wife to watch it with me as it looks like the kind of thing she'd like.

Castle Rock is on there as well. Season 1 is great, I need to watch season 2 now

Not sure if it's been posted here already, but all 3 seasons of Future Man are on Amazon Prime video.

The Platform (Netflix) - sounds like a good film (IMDB), if a little too short.

Quote:
A slab of food descends floor by floor in a prison. The inmates above eat heartily, leaving those below starving and desperate.

A vertical prison with one cell per level. Two people per cell. One food platform and two minutes per day to feed from up to down. An endless nightmare trapped in The Hole.

I had images of that being a giant block of cheese, with people gradually eating away the platform until they fell to their deaths.

That would make for a better film.

I watched it, it was a bit strange! But I mostly enjoyed it. And hurrah for dubbing!

The rest of the Studio Ghibli movies have been added now:

Also The Post is worth watching if you haven't seen it.
