RocknRolla - Guy Ritchie

Does anybody know anything about Guy Ritchie's new film ..... apparantly it's part of a trilogy with Gerard Butler and Thandie Newton amongst others.... it's something about Russain mobsters

Haven't seen much about it, but I'm praying it's not another Revolver.

For some reason I read this thread title and got it into my head that it was a film called RocknRolla starring SHANE Ritchie. *shudders*

trailer up on Empire's website.

Looks... exactly like all Ritchie's other films. Could be great, could be rubbish. Decent cast though.

I'm rather optimistic about this. Obviously a Guy Ritchie move but looks to be rather good. Great cast... I would hope some of them would't touch this if the script was anything like Revolver, so like I said... optimistic.

Big disappointment, he doesn't say "THIS IS SPARTA!".

Looks like Smoking Aces with mockneys. Is Tom Wilkinson playing the late Mike Reid?

Stinger Bell.........in a fluffy ears helmet..........

Other than that, it looks exactly like Lock Stock and Snatch, which in my eyes is a good thing. Have to say, I haven't seen Revolver though.

Obviously gone back to Lock Stock/Snatch after the bonkers Revolver.

That trailer makes more sense in a story narative than the whole of Revolver.

Christ no, that's me out then. Smokin' Aces was awful.

Saying that, Lock, Stock was average and Snatch was just OK.

One of the most over-rated directors ever.

Nope not just you Jedibitch, looks like more of the same unconvincing inauthentic overwritten mockney crapola.

Hard to tell which way it's going to go from the trailer, but Gerard Butler is hot and Jeremy Piven helps. That said I'll catch the DVD.

*Yawn*

And they wonder why Hollywood 'rules' the film world.

I propose we go and dig up David Lean
