Many thanks!

I was looking at it despairingly at £24.99 in Zavvi yesterday, so this has made my day.

I presume this is a single disc release, like the other Warner Bros versions? The US Paramount BRD is on two discs and has double the bitrate (but is twice the price )

Doesn't it only have DD 5.1 rather than the trueHD on the US disc?

The UK edition is 1-disc and does have half the bitrate of the US 2-disc version. I know, I've owned them both (kept the US one). UK disc still looks good though. Can't remember what the sound options were on the UK disc, but the US disc does have TrueHD according to the back of the box.

How come the image at both amazon and play show the cover as saying 2 disc director's cut??

Dunno.. just a mistake prolly.

Mine is the 1 disc version from play and says 'director's cut' on the cover in the same font as the text in that image.

Do you mean audio bitrate or video?
