Ł17.99 from PlayUSA.
http://www.playusa.com/playusa.asp?s...nt&page=search

Can't beat that I imagine.

Watched all the episodes over so many times and I can't remember a single mention of Atkins before the last episode so I assume they cut references out of earlier episodes.

17.99 is a great deal - I'll go for that. And customs shouldn't be a problem, right?

Just bumping this as a reminder that the new season starts tomorrow in the States. Strangely, it's titled 'The One Where Michael Leaves', rather than 'Let Them Eat Cake Part 2', as most people assumed.

Anyone else caught the new series? IMO, they've somehow managed to make it even funnier than the first.

Yes, I saw it, and it was great. Hooray! Loved Gob's magic trick, converting a hundred-dollar bill into a hundred pennies (and Michael's follow-up aside which pointed out the $99 loss). And Tobias setting off the rape alarm (when Michael nearly suggested he was gay) was ace.

Rumoured guest star this season:

Like he himself had been "raped" or just that he was trying to distract everyone?

Best bit for me was when Gob sat in shock for 7 minutes, blatent F 911 referrence I thought, then "Micheal Moore" comes on

Overall though, not that funny but about the same as the end of series 1.

Distraction, but perhaps subconscious.

Just saw ep2 and it wasn't that much better than ep1. The only good bit was Tobias' camoflaging himself. The "I'm comfortable with that" line sounded a bit too much like they were copying seinfelds "Not that there's anything wrong with that!" line

I'm suprised you think that as I was laughing out loud all the way though. I think this is the only show on that makes me do that at the moment.

I wasn't. Last series I was, until the last few episodes but then they put out some pretty average ones and the first two this time are the same. It gets a lot of from me at the moment

Moved across from the other (wrong) thread.
203 is great. I couldn't stop laughing when Tobias said this to Michael:

Cue shocked silence from all concerned. Great stuff with Anne as well, and Michael's fumbling attempts to talk to George Michael about her. And then:

Also loved Buster's attempt to talk to Mexican people -- by putting on a poor Mexican accent.

I've just done the same thing -- flew through season 1 again, and have now watched the first 5 eps of season 2. So great! Portia De Rossi is very good in episode 5, and I loved the bit in the "next time" segment:

BTW, has everyone been watching those "next time" bits? For most shows I completely avoid them because they give away too much, but with AD they're absolutely nothing to do with the next week's episode -- each forms a little epilogue which gives a nice reprise to some of the jokes set up during the episode proper.

Might have to check this show out, I've seen a couple of clips on BBC4 but it didn't really grab me. Will give it a better chance though.

Ep 5 is much better than the first few. I liked the T-shirt gag, although it's not really part of that episode. The scoring gag was pretty good

How so? It won't be in the next one (as I mentioned above).

Ah right! It seems that they are part of the next episode though! Or at least they used to be.
