Safe, but awful, websites to show class of 10-11 year olds

As part of my class's ICT curriculum, we're looking at multimedia applications and websites. I wanted to show them some terrible but safe examples in class so we can see how cluttered and unclear they are and what pitfalls to avoid when they make their own.

Does anyone have any appropriate links/ideas please?

TIA

looking at some of those sites, you would have to put in A LOT of effort to get it looking that bad! I wouldn't mind trying one in a tongue-in-cheek way! Especially the ones with fit-inducing flashing rainbow bars! I doubt I could get them to look as glorious as these though :

You'd think that a guy selling "luxury homes" would spend a bit of brass on a web design, wouldn't you?

Ha! http://newhomesbyrichard.com/

Later: just clicked on ajw000's links. My eyes! Thay hertz!

I'm not an experienced web guy. Or a good one. Or an expensive one. And *I* think he's a cowboy. What are his "clients" thinking?

When i was freelancing i actually used to lose work to this talentless **** - based entirely on price. It's the sort of shoddy, talentless crap that gives the profession a bad name.

I find that the ones who base their decision on cost alone always regret it. We used to try and get a competitor afterwards and do a much better site to rub it in

Crikey, I'm expecting much a better standard of work than that from the kids!

Some great stuff so far, thanks folks.

??? Is this normal nowadays? If so the future of design will be very bright. I've taught some 3rd years University students who can't even match some of the sites posted here...
