Region 1 version of Zulu?

Hi,

CDWOW are currently selling a R1 version of Zulu. I just wondered if anyone had bought this particular version and could comment on the picture and sound quality?

I got hold of a different Region 1 version about 18 months ago and the picture was awful! I just wondered whether this one was going to be more of the same.

There's a Region 4 version available but that's released by Avenue One and all of there releases i've seen so far have also been of very low quality.

I don't believe it's been reissued as yet, but there is an R2 version coming over the summer along with the Italian Job and Funeral In Berlin (Michael Caine connection of course). Don't know the specs or if this will be a new print. I'd hope so after all this time.

Wait for the forthcoming MGM (R1) special edition (no release date announced as yet)

Paramount are releasing 'Zulu' on R4,scheduled for October 1st.It will be a remastered anam.widescreen version,so go nowhere near the hideous R1 versions.
