Jay and Silent Bob Reboot
NSFW

Plenty of cameos including Val Kilmer and Supergirl Melissa Benoist, is this the return of the Kevin Smith of old? Jason Mewes looks quite different though.

Mewes face looks weird. Like he's been on steroids. And his teeth seem short, like he's been taking crack.

I so wanted this to be a return to form, but that looked painfully unfunny. Impressive amount of cameos & I did smile at the return of Affleck, but everything else looked Bad....

yeh, mewes had really bad addiction problems. There's a kind of easy read here about it https://www.looper.com/121411/jason-...-much-anymore/
but also if you delve deeper there's lots of stuff Kevin smith has written about it all and how he almost gave up on mewes at one point.
Basically the podcast tours and stuff like that are Kevins way of helping Mewes stay sober.

I saw this on Friday. As a big Smith fan I found it very funny. Anyone else would probably be very confused though.

I'm surprised there aren't any showings that near me. I think the closest is Reading.

It seems to be a very limited run and was surprised to see a UK specific 20 minute Q&A (pre-filmed) with Kevin and Jay after the film.

Saw this on Sunday....some genuinely hilarious bits, some funny bits, some great cameos and some slightly dull and predictable bits. The 20 minute Q&A had some very funny moments too.
Not quite a return to form, but if Clerks 3 and Mallrats 2 are as good I'd be happy.

This just landed on NowTV
Christ; the most painful 1hr 40 mins since Little Nicky. Poorly shot no cinematography joke old as time itself and putting his kid in it who cannot act or needs a director able to pull a performance out of her.
Affleck was the best part but he looked ready to keel over. Sorry Kevin Smith has left the building, how he got all those actors to appear is a story in itself.
