That was my first thought too! I’m sure there’s some countries still to get season 1!
Trailer looks good, more of the same will do me and I kind of like that they haven’t gone with some big flashy reveal or teaser type thing at the end of it.

He owns his own spaceship and has a rocket pack on his back, so why is he going around on a boat?
Looks good though!

Can't remember the reason for the delay of Season 1. It wasn't just due to a delay in the whole service as IIRC Mandalorian wasn't available from day 1 of the service in the UK

I thought it was available day 1 in the UK, but they didn't release them all at once.

I recall it was serialised, I guess to avoid people realising there wasn't a lot of content after binge watching it for one day, you'd have to pay for a month at least

Season 1 had episodes 1-3 at launch on Disney+ in the UK and then the other episodes appeared each Friday for the next 5 weeks. This was done to avoid people getting a one month trial to watch the season then cancelling. Season 2 will be an episode each week from 30 October for eight weeks in the UK just like the US.

Movieweb and others are reporting a rumour that Pedro Pascal quit halfway through season 2, reason for this he wanted to do scenes with no helmet.
https://movieweb.com/the-mandalorian...o-pascal-quit/
Pinch of salt warning, but its not within the bounds of possibility that an actor wants face time. It does make me respect those that can cover their face Karl Urban in Dredd or Hugo Weaving in Captain America

I hope they said "look you're just a bloke in a helmet, we could get anyone to play it, it isn't hard"
I believe he has a point though, where has this "not taking your helmet thing" come from? Was Jango Fett not one? Do Mandalorians not sweat?

According to screenrant they don't think Jango was one. But look at clone wars and rebels mandalorians took their helmets off all the time. It's a fact the Pedro was not always the one in the suit in season one. And not just for stunt work.
Don't know why filoni would have agreed to this major change in behaviour, unless this a ultra strict faction.

Yeh you'd think he could be replaced without anyone much noticing and in the future you'd think they'd make the character a stuntman and a voice artist. Preferably one who wouldn't be able to play the character, someone old or too fat or something.
Yeh it's too many questions not taking armour off. Is it why Jango needed a clone, you can't have sex or something?

In fact, Pedro Pascal isn't even in one episode of the first season entirely as he was performing a play elsewhere and couldn't make the shoot.
In the rather brilliant Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, they even reveal there are three people who play him. Pedro, a stuntman, and another guy whose good at gun play, twirling the guns around on his fingers etc.

The "rumours" about Pedro's departure come from "sources" of one Grace Randolph, that's all you need to know about that.

Yep very good start
To me it’s the Star Wars I used to play as a kid with the toys rather than what I watched
And as much as I loved watching it I loved making up new stories and scenarios more

I really enjoyed that episode although the final few frames went right over my head - I genuinely didn't recognise him!!
