It always makes me laugh when someone is surrounded by baddies, who then just run directly at them one at a time without even raising their gun.

You're not alone. I couldn't believe how many cool moments this episode could have had and yet it seemed all Mando did was do the Grand Ol' Duke of York over and over again. That's what you get letting Robert Rodriguez direct.

Slightly off topic but relevant. Disney are currently having their investors meeting and just announced among others they are developing ten further Star Wars series.

I know they're currently filming the Rogue One spin off and Kenobi starts filming in January.

10 new Star Wars series in a short period of time? I think the best we can hope for out of that is the proverbial “mixed bag”. Remember when 5 films in 6 years suddenly felt like too much Star Wars?

Also, completely off topic but 20th Century Fox material comes to Disney+ in a new Tab called Star. This starts on Feb 21st, not sure if we get it on that date.

Forget the new stuff for now, how good was this week, Burr needs to return A LOT. As for the Tarantino/Greedo style bar scene.
These folks need to make the next Trilogy.

THANK YOU. I was watching this and trying to think what this reminded me of. That actor had a certain Christoph Waltz vibe to him.
I like playing a little game with myself and trying to guess the director of each episode. Absolutely kicked myself when last weeks was Robert Rodriguez and I noticed the homage to El Mariachi/Desperado where they jump spin off a ledge shooting as they fall, but it didn’t click at the time.
Senility is taking hold.

Half of those sound terrible from the title and I'd say they'll pretty soon that everyone is streaming sick of star wars as they got with 2 films in a year.

The latest episode was another corker. No spoilers but as soon as I saw that weapon, I was already cheering with joy before it detonated. One of my favourite Star Wars weapons!
