Bit strange that Netflix hasn't released the international trailer yet, normally it's up first thing the following morning. A sign of things to come?

they still have not learned that most people don't want Poochie to be the centre of the show/universe

Star Trek: Discovery - season 2 (January)

First two new Discovery Shorts have been a mixed bag. The singing scene ruined the first one but thankfully the Origins of Tribbles was inspired & very funny...

I've really enjoyed both of them (the second one especially got all the comedy right and has some inspired casting), but agree that the singing in the first one was very random. I did love that it ended with
, though.

Channel 4 have picked up the rights to broadcast Discovery in the UK on free-to-air next year (season 1). Sounds like Netflix will still have the newer episodes first.

Any mention of the great Tribble hunt? any scenes where the Klingons slaughter them en masse?

The new Spock looks awful; actually preferred him with the beard.

Did you watch the Tribbles episode to the very end, ie after the end credits?

If you haven’t, do so

Not yet. The Season 1 shorts are, under "trailers and more". So hopefully not too long to wait.

Another strong Short Trek just released. Give us a Pike show already! Also, the ending had a preview of the upcoming animated shorts due next month - they looked gorgeous.

I take it that means you watched the last short to it’s true end?

& not even a very good 7 minutes. A single scene of people shouting regulations at each other. Wow.

I guessed the outcome as soon as the mask came off.
