Hehe... actually, I was looking for bias on the BBC News homepage (didn't find any, of course) then that article caught my eye. Loads of shows listed that aren't on the BBC.

Any mention of an expiry date? Does it need to be activated within a certain period?
Also, how much is a renewal, as it looks like £59.99 is the normal signup price?

You didnlt read the whole lot did you as it says this ' Cards do not expire.'
They are putting the price up to £79.99 in Feb... a month before all of the initial renewal dates will kick in. I guess existing subscribers might get an offer but no one really knows and, if they do, I guess it will be at £59.99

Watched the Bruce Willis film Hard Kill last night. Every few minutes I said to myself "This film is terrible". The only reason we watched the whole thing was because we'd started watching it late and there wasn't time to see anything else. I think it was the worst thing I've ever seen. The acting was bad, the plot was bad, the entire budget must have gone on Brucey's salary. Avoid at all costs.

Good a place as any ... Soul was very good IMHO, up there with the rest of Pixar's good stuff.
I am now wondering if there is a new short, that is hidden anyway in Disney+ somewhere, which would have accompanied Soul's theatrical release ??

I think Burrow is on Disney+ now. That was the short that was supposed to feature before it.

Just watched Midnight Sky starring George Clooney last night.
It looked like something I was going to enjoy.
Ended up with me barely being able to make it to the end, and such a struggle.
Such a shame, as the concept had promise, but ended up feeling like the whole movie was like a 15 minute section from another film, make into it's own full length film.
I had to constrain myself from shouting at the screen a couple of times, in the "let's stop during a critical mission and faff about for a bit" type of event.
And the very worst point being the whole point being the establishment of communications. And at the very second to get a ultra important message said, he faffs around rather than saying it.
Shame, I was hoping for so much more

Thanks, will wait and see how 2021 turns out then. I'm holding out hope that most of the big titles will make it onto cinema screens for special screenings once the pandemic dies down.

You post cost me £60
I had zero interest in a Disney + subscription, but having just purchased a brand new "Chromecast with Google TV" for my own Christmas Gift to myself.
And yes, this must be the worst name of any product ever.
It started to recommend me Disney+ content on my home screen despite me no being subscribed, and even deleting the app.
Hence I say your post and thought, what the hell and took out a years sub for £60
