Anyone watch The OA ? (Difficult to search for on here).
The premise sounds interesting, but difficult to gauge if it's been dumbed down, or if the cancelling after S2 would be too frustrating!
It’s a fantastic show but the cancellation was extremely frustrating as it had a stunning cliffhanger which left you hanging, with no explanation what the f@#k was going on!

Its really, really good and well worth the watch even with the cancellation. Not a hint of dumbing down, it seems a very clear vision of what the writers intended.
I never did get round to the second season, I did enjoy the first I think the second just got buried in the avalanche of content that started to come out around then.
I started to watch Ratched, but if they're just going to plunder classic old films for supporting characters to tart up, I think I'll wait for the one about the bus driver from Speed.

I was the same - I took ages to watch the second series - it definitely came out at the same time as a shed load of other stuff.
I'm enjoying Ratched - though reviews I've seen don't seem to be good. It's totally crazy and looks fantastic. Wonderful cast too.
I thought the trailer looks good and Paulson is always great, but I'd also seen quite a few things saying it goes downhill after a couple of episodes. I'll definitely give it a go.

Any fellow space nerds out there should check out the JJ Abrams produced 4-part docuseries Challenger: The Final Flight about the 1986 Space Shuttle disaster.
Featuring interviews with pretty much every surviving person involved, plus the families of the lost astronauts, it's quite harrowing at times, but vey well put together.
I watched Enola Holmes with my wife on Sunday night. Found it a bit disappointing, less fun than the trailer made out and outside of MBB all the other actors seemed to be dialling it in. Cavill just seemed like a less grumpy Geralt. The feminist message seemed a bit conflicted as well. Nothing about it felt particularly new or unexpected. By no means terrible but quite underwhelming.
